Fishers 16, 4A #2 Kokomo 13 – The Tigers scored nine runs in the bottom of the sixth and reliever Ben Taylor struck out the final three batters of the game as Fishers opened its season with an upset over last year’s 4A state runner-up Kokomo. 4A #2 Hamilton Southeastern 10, Anderson 0 (5) – The Royals improved to 3-1 on the young season with a five inning shutout of Anderson. Offesnsively for HSE, Katie Syrus went 3 for 3 with two triples and  Devin Dearing had a triple to go along with 3 RBI’s. Boys Volleyball
Fishers is defeated by Lawrence North 3 games to 2 by scores of 24-26, 25-20, 25-22, 16-25, 8-15 – Ryan Woosley had 22 kills and 6 blocks and Tommy Moorehead added 11 kills for the Tigers.  Defensively Josh Adkins had 12 digs, but Fishers was uanble to close out the Wildcats after leading 2 games to 1.
