Lafayette Jefferson Sectional – Harrison, #11 Lafayette Jefferson, and McCutcheon were all a part of this sectional, but the host Bronchos were the only one of the three to advance to the regional as a team. Lafayette Jeff shot a team-total 302 at Battle Ground Country Club to advance to the Lafayette Jeff Regional on June 6 at 8:00 A.M. Jeff’s Ryan Williamson took medalist honors at the sectional with a round of 1-under-par 71. Harrison’s Justin Woods (81) and McCutcheon’s Scott Mooney (82) each advanced to the regional as individuals. Lawrence Central Sectional – #23 Zionsville was the only HCC school a part of this sectional and unfortunately the Eagles finished in sixth-place with a 308 total, to miss advancing to the regional by six strokes. However, Zionsville’s Graham Singer earned a spot in the Center Grove Regional as an individual. Singer carded a 75 on the South Grove layout to advance to the regional at Hickory Stick on June 5 at 8:00 A.M. #2 Cathedral won the Lawrence Central Sectional with a team-total 282.  (Click here to read a story about the event from the Zionsville perspective from Eric Smith courtesy of The Lebanon Reporter)
